About Risk Management Inc.

Risk Management, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Louisiana Municipal Association.

The Organization became fully operational on January 1, 1987 and functions as the service agent for the Louisiana Municipal Association inter-local risk pools.

The primary purpose of Risk Management, Inc. is to effectively market and administer the self funded indemnity programs which have been developed to serve the municipalities of Louisiana, and to assist in the development of new programs to meet the needs of municipal government.

RMI Welcomes New General Manager

Jerry Cronin has served as the longstanding General Manager of Risk Management, Inc. and will retire in July. A hiring committee of the RMI Board of Directors conducted in depth interviews with several qualified candidates. Patrick Cronin was selected to succeed Jerry and his transition into the role of General Manager began on January 4, 2021. Patrick has enjoyed over 33 years in the insurance, TPA, cost containment, loss prevention, underwriting and risk management industry, starting out in the position of Claims Representative at RMI in 1987.
